The Atomic Vital Park in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, that comprises of four recreational areas, is not only an ideal start point for the Vital Parcour course or a wide variety of hikes and healthy activities but also is an inspirational location for a wide range of sports and recreational facilities where people can have fun, train or relax in nature. 

The Schlatterberg hill is home to the Vital Parcour Course with its running track, 20 muscle-building stations with stretching, muscle-conditioning and strengthening exercises, 3 tennis courts, 1 Beachvolleyball court and a football pitch all in the same location, alongside a great kids' playground.  

Two riding stables  guarantee an unforgettable riding experience whether you opt to have lessons in the school or go out trail riding. Riders who are already at home in the saddle can enjoy the 5 Trail-riding tours, one of which is the famous multi day "Dachstein-Tauern-Ride" 105 km of which runs through the Atomic Vital Park.

Swim, paddle, slide or just pamper your body, mind and soul in Altenmarkt with this year round pool, sauna and wellness facility. The Therme Amadé has a wide range of pools, activities, relaxation facilities and a wonderful sauna world (nudist area).

Our area also has beautiful, natural swimming lakes that are open in Summer and can be accessed by car or bike. 

Bowling at the two bowling alleys in Zauchensee is fun for the whole family and a great activity for when the sun has gone into hiding! In winter there is also Winter Curling, austrian style with a free taster session for guests.

Fans of Fly Fishing can get a fishing licence for the Zauchbach creek and Zauchensee lake. Up at Reitlehenalm or at the Wildlife and Recreational Park in Untertauern, you can go angling for trout in their fishing lakes, where you can rent equipment or bring your own and have your catch prepared and cooked for you on site! 

At Radstadt Golf Club, Golfers can enjoy a quick round on the compact 9-hole course or opt for a full round of golf on the 18-hole championship course that is only  4 km away from the Hotel. The course runs mainly along the valley floor but uses the mountain landscape and a gondola to bring you up to the next level. If that is not enough, there are 14 other attractive alpine golf courses within a 25km - 90km radius. 

The aerial ropes course „Wald-Hochseilpark Altenmarkt-Zauchensee“, tempts adventure-hungry guests, to join in with the "Zauchbach climbing & water fun“ three times a week during the holiday season. Over 300 m long, with 30 platforms ranging from 3 to 20 m high, this challenging course not only offers a different perspective but tests your courage and skills, encouraging you to stretch your limits. 

Adventure Sports promise to be fun for the whole family and the Adventure Center Flachau or one of the other adventure companies in Salzburger Sportworld give you the chance to try out or improve your skills in a wide range of unusual sports in a fun, safe yet exciting way in the local area.
